Sphinx
The Great Sphinx of Gisa (the most famous sphinx) is 66 feet tall
and 240 feet long. The sphinx of Greek legend asked a riddle of
all people it encountered, eating those who could not answer it.
"What is the creature that walks on four legs in the morning,

Jinx
A jinx is a state or spell of bad luck, often alluding to the bad
luck being caused by witchcraft. The word "jinx" first
shows up around 1911. It's believe to be derrived from jynx wryneck.
(Wrynecks were/are used in witchcraft.)
Jellyfish
Jellyfish are invertabrates, which means they have no spine. They
also have no endo- or exo-skeleton and are over 90% water, which
means that they dry up to almost nothingness when they wash ashore.
