Name: Phoebe T. Summersquash
She
was named after the drummer from a group called Small
Factory which barely anyone has ever heard of. (The "T" stands
for Toe-crud. When she was a kitten, she was preoccupied with cleaning
her toes.)
Background: Born in March of
1996 in Shreveport, LA
Phoebe was the runt of Scot's roommate's cat's litter. Her mother
was a Highlands street cat. Her father was probably feral. She instantly
captivated me when I saw her bully her brothers out of
dinner by
placing herself directly over the entire food bowl while she ate.
Scot kept her for the first few months of her life until I was able to get into
my apartment. She's been with me ever since.
Personality: Stereotypical cat
Phoebe loves me best -- she tolerates oher people. She likes to watch
goings-on from the shadows. She makes friends with strangers slowly,
but never forgets the people she likes, even if she hasn't seen
them for months or years. Her best
pal
is Kali.
She's a calico too. - and though they look related, they're (probably)
not.
Her favorite things are feather dusters, jingle balls,
the pull strips from plastic milk cartons, dark cardboard boxes
and paper shopping bags. Her least favorite things are baths and
computers.
