Chickens - Greta (Bantam, Blue Silver Duckwing) & Betty (Bantam, Rosecomb)

	Betty is calmest when she's being held. She unlike the other birds in that aspect.
July 2004 ~7 months old	Eggs!
	Our first Bantam eggs. Most likely Esther laid them, but we can't be certain. The chickens laid them just in time for Scot's birthday (July 4th)!
June 2004 ~6 months old	Greta & Esther
	Greta is slightly smaller and has slightly darker coloring than Esther. Greta again. (Esther didn't want to be photographed.) This was the best photo I could get of Esther. She's in the foreground and Greta is in the background. Since they're new, Greta and Esther sleep in the rabbit cage and not the hen haven. Mabel's not too keen on them right now and enjoys harassing them. (I now know what hen-pecking actually looks like.) You can't tell it too much in this photo, but they're quite a bit smaller than Mabel and Tilly (and the latter haven't reached full-size yet).
