Bowie. My favorite band is XTC. My favorite
symphonic composers are Igor Stravinsky, Nikolai Rimsky-Korsokov and
Philip Glass.
I adore Sanrio, Totoro
and Winnie-the-Pooh. In general, I like anything
cutesy.
My hobbies include drawing,
making icons and collecting vinyl
records.
I love to wear Doc Martens. 7 pairs so far. My favorite shoes are
by Tred-Air (a Dr. Martens company).
Also, I have extremely pale skin that doesn't tan; it freckles and
then burns.
Pets
Three Cats: Phoebe
and Kali are the two adorable calico
cats in my life. They have a brother, Riley
(a Maine Coon), who likes to sing and follow me around the house.
We have eight pet chickens: Mabel and Tilly are
Barred Rock chickens. They live in our backyard where they will
eat bugs and lay fresh eggs for us, once they're older. They were
hatched in April 2004. Greta is
a bantam blue silver duckwing Old English Game hen. She and her
sister Esther came to live with us in June 2004 and were about
6 months old at that time. Esther was killed by a hawk in November
2004. Clarabelle, Marjorie, Henrietta, and 2 unnamed pullets are
bantam BB-red Old English Game hens; they came to live with usin
October (Clarabelle and Marjorie) and December 2006 (the others).
Terror is our female Green Terror;
we bought her in 1998. She has killed every other fish we've placed
in her aquarium, with the exception of her current plecostomus.
Terror enjoys acting tough and trying to attack the cats and Scot
and me.
We also have another aquarium with a plecostomus
(named Sea Monster) we bought in 1997 and some
African cichlids.
